BTO Nestbox Survey Training

The BTO (British Trust for Ornithology) conducts volunteer surveys to gage the numbers of breeding birds.

This day we will be cleaning out and marking the nest boxes on the scrubs so that they are ready for the birds to breed in this spring. We will also be mapping their location ready to take part in the BTO breeding bird survey.
