The Wormwood Scrubs LNR mostly consists of areas of woodland/scrub along the edges, with an island of woodland in the middle of the park. The LNR is 13.7 hectares in total. The park is gently domed from its centre, and lies between about 10m and 28m above sea level. It's composed of slightly different grassland communities, which show the changes in soils and water levels. It supports a unique diversity of flora, which provides vital habitats to an array of wildlife.
