Wildlife

The scrubs supports a unique diversity of flora and fauna, all the more amazing because of its urban setting and proximity to central London. With over 100 species of birds sighted, it's prime territory for urban birding. It's also home to a population of common lizards - one of the reasons why an area of the site was designated a Local Nature Reserve in 2002.
