The Friends of Wormwood Scrubs is an association of users of Wormwood Scrubs Park (to distinguish it from the prison) who wish to preserve the Scrubs for its original use “by inhabitants of the metropolis for exercise and recreation,” as enshrined in the Wormwood Scrubs Act 1879.
